Induction Ceremony: April 19, 6:30 pm. MPR
This is a semi-formal event where all members will take their Induction Oath and receive their membership certificate. Volunteers will be needed to set up the refreshments table after school this day, from 3:15 - 4:15. A refreshments committee will be meeting in the Cope Library on April 5, after school, from 3:15 - 3:45

CALLING ALL USED BOOKS!
CJSF Family: Please scour your garages, closets, and shelves for used books to donate to our 3rd annual Used Book Sale. Gently used books of ALL kinds are needed. Drop off in Room I-27 (CJSF Headquarters). Tell your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and churches too! Thank you. (Deadline to donate is Thursday, November 17.)
8th grade application period begins August 10
8th graders may now apply for fall 2016 membership. Even if you were a member in 7th grade, you must reapply now to keep membership current. CJSF membership lasts only one semester at a time. Pick up your application in Room I-27 and return it along with the $10 membership fee and a photocopy of your June 2016 report card. DEADLINE TO APPLY IS SEPTEMBER 30. No late applications accepted. Disneyland field trip Saturday, May 27
Only members who submit community service logs are eligible to go on this trip. Pick up a community service log in I-27 or download one below from the files. See ideas for community service in the file below. Logs are due March 10 to be eligible for this trip. Permission slips will be available March 27 and are due back by April 5. All 7th & 8th grade members are welcome to this trip.
